Jacopo Raffi

Hi everyone,
I am a first-year Ph.D. student at the University of Trento working under the supervision of Prof. Flavio Vella. I earned both my bachelor’s and a master’s degree in computer science from the University of Pisa, specializing in artificial intelligence for my master’s degree. Toward the end of my studies, I became interested in distributed deep learning and the computational challenges of efficiently training large AI models.

I’m interested in making AI more efficient in terms of computation and energy consumption to create systems that are faster, leaner, and more sustainable.
