I am a second-year doctoral researcher at the University of Trento, Italy, under the supervision of Professors F. Vella and P. Rech at the Department of Information Engineering and Computer Science, and I am a member of the HiCrest research group in the same university. I am enrolled in the Transdiciplinary Doctoral program in Quantum Science and Technologies in collaboration with the Department of Physics.
Before that, I studied at the Polytechnic University of Turin, Italy, first for a Bachelor’s and then for a Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering, which I achieved respectively in 2020 and 2022, as a member of the international student program.
My research interests include quantum computing simulation, both through statevector methods and tensor network contraction, fault reliability and quantum machine learning.
In 2023, I have been the teaching assistant for the Software Engineering course held by Professor F. Vella at the Department of Information Engineering and Computer Science.
Here you can check out my Master’s Degree thesis on Quantum Machine Learning Fault Injection.

Besides research, I try to find time to grow many hobbies, among which playing the piano, the guitar and singing, artistic pencil drawing, playing Elder Dragon Highlander and Dungeons&Dragons, and going to the gym.
