On the 10th and 11th of June, our research group participated in the face-to-face meeting (General Assembly) of the European project NET4EXA, hosted in Oslo at the headquarters of our partner Numascale AS.
The meeting provided a key opportunity for in-person discussion to assess the scientific and technological progress of the consortium, which aims to redefine the frontiers of architecture and interconnection for future Exascale systems. During the working sessions, our researcher Kaijie Fan and our PhD students Lorenzo Pichetti and Thomas Pasquali presented the latest results regarding irregular communications, benchmarking, and the SbatchMan tool, gathering valuable feedback from international partners and coordinating the next crucial steps of the research activities.
In addition to the intensive technical work, the days spent in Oslo strengthened the synergy and collaborative spirit driving the NET4EXA consortium, laying the groundwork for the upcoming milestones of the project.
Thanks to Numascale AS for hosting us, and thanks to our invaluable project partners CEA, Bull, FORTH, CINECA, INFN, Sapienza Università di Roma for the good work!
